 Musical Opinion

Four leading British musicians form the core of this unique ensemble which specialises in the rich and varied repertoire of 17th and 18th century Europe. The Musicke Companye delights audiences with their highly dramatic and innovative programmes in which music, poetry and prose are combined into a seamless tapestry of sound and narration. Combining a beguiling stage presence with an infectious enthusiasm for the music, The Musicke Companye bring a mixture of vitality, passion, virtuosity and colour to their concerts. Theatrical enactments of songs and duets are combined with virtuosic instrumental interludes to create a highly entertaining evening of humour, pathos and sensual beauty.

The Musicke Companye has performed extensively throughout Europe on stage, radio and television to great critical acclaim.
